KEARNEY, Neb.—Authorities say a Colorado man was arrested after 36 pounds of marijuana-laced candy was found in a car he was driving in south-central Nebraska.

The Nebraska State Patrol says 24-year-old Harrison Goldberg, of Breckenridge, Colo., was arrested Monday and faces two felony drug charges, including possession for sale.

The patrol says the car was stopped for a traffic violation Monday near Kearney. The patrol says a search dog taken to the scene indicated drugs in the rear of the car.

The patrol says a search yielded the bars of packaged candy, which had been prepared with ground-up marijuana.

Goldberg posted bond and left Buffalo County Jail on Tuesday. A public phone listing for him could not be found. His attorney didn’t immediately return a call Thursday from The Associated Press.
