The Colorado Eagles allowed a goal in each period and struggled on offense as they fell 3-1 to the Stockton Thunder on Tuesday night in Game 1 of the ECHL Western Conference playoffs in Stockton, Calif.
Colorado’s lone goal, by Aaron Slattengren, came early in the third period off an assist from Jason Beatty. The Eagles will have a chance to tie the series tonight in Game 2 at Stockton before the series comes back to Colorado on Friday.
