BRIGHTON, Colo.—An Adams County mother of a missing 7-month-old boy has been formally charged with child abuse resulting in death.
Twenty-two-year-old Sharrieckia Page was formally advised of the charge Wednesday. She is scheduled for a preliminary hearing April 25.
The Denver Post reports ( ) Commerce City police started looking for Page’s son last week after a relative asked for a welfare check, but investigators now believe the baby is dead. Investigators haven’t disclosed whether his body has been found. Documents in the case are sealed by a court order.
