ERIE — An Erie woman, enraged that her husband was missing for two days, has been accused of ramming his car at least four times after finding him on the road, puncturing his tire and threatening to kill two women inside his car who were half her age.

Nicole Steele, 36, was arrested March 27 on suspicion of domestic violence, harassment, felony menacing, criminal mischief, reckless endangerment and vehicular assault, according to a Brighton police affidavit. Police responded after a passerby reported a couple fighting on the side of the road after 10 p.m.

Steele told police she went out that night to find her husband, Donald Bonner, 29, who had been gone for two days.

She said as she was driving to Lochbuie to find him, she passed him on Weld County Road 2 near 17th Avenue in Brighton. She told police she turned around and raced to catch her husband. When she did, she said he slammed on his brakes and she rear-ended him.
