BOULDER, Colo.—A 22-year-old Allenspark man has acknowledged trying to build drug labs and has agreed to give up his pursuit of chemistry.
The Longmont Times-Call ( ) reports Trevan Lake appeared in District Court in Boulder on Friday and pleaded guilty to a felony charge of attempting to possess chemicals for the manufacture of PCP. He also agreed to allow Longmont police to search his home for chemicals, chemistry sets or any other evidence that he was pursuing chemistry.
Police say Lake was arrested in December for setting up the beginnings of a methamphetamine lab in a motel room.
He is scheduled to be sentenced June 1.
