Denver Safety Expo hosts cops, firefighters and paramedics at Broadway Marketplace Saturday

The public can learn more about the men and women whose job it is to keep them safe during the Community Safety Expo Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Broadway Marketplace.

Representatives of Denver’s law enforcement, fire protection, emergency medicine and social service agencies will greet the public and answer questions in the parking lot of the Broadway COP Shop .

A wide array of agencies and special units will be represented, including SWAT, police dogs, bomb squad, a smoke-filled house for kids, search-and-rescue members, , the, and others.

The event is being put on by the and (INC).

The seven Denver COP Shops are storefronts where police, volunteers and the community can meet to exchange information, fire reports and monitor community issues, including gangs and graffiti.

Inter-Neighborhood Cooperation is a non-profit, volunteer advocacy organization for city neighborhoods.
