STERLING, Colo.—The National Weather Service says a severe thunderstorm produced destructive hail the size of hen eggs in northeastern Colorado.
The Weather Service said Thursday the storm was in northeastern Logan County near the Nebraska border.
The storm was six miles northeast of Fleming and 24 miles east of Sterling.
A tornado watch has been issued for Logan and eight other counties in eastern Colorado.
