LOVELAND — Owners of the Rocky Mountain Center for Innovation and Technology, formerly the Agilent Technologies Inc. campus, are near the end of a week-long flurry of tours for prospective tenants.

And among Thursday’s guests were early adopters of the notion behind ACE — the Aerospace Clean Energy Manufacturing and Innovation Park for which Loveland was selected last year. While the lead agency behind ACE pulled away from Loveland after failing to secure an agreement with the park’s new owners, Kentucky-based Cumberland & Western Resources, interest in the technology center continues to build.

Cumberland & Western principal Bill Murphree, whose company bought the campus from the city of Loveland for $5 million in December, said the ongoing negotiations with tenants looking for space at the technology center would soon lead to contracts. He said ideally the center would launch with two or three anchor tenants, each with 100,000 to 150,000 square feet. Tom Hacker, Loveland Reporter-Herald
