COPPER MOUNTAIN, Colo.—Copper Mountain Resort says the ski area, the National Ski Patrol and participants in Copper’s CopperMan adventure race have raised more than $2,800 for an injured ski patroller.
Sally Francklyn suffered a skull fracture last month after hitting her helmet on a rock while skiing in the backcountry near Jackson Hole Mountain Resort in Wyoming. She was a patroller at Copper Mountain in Colorado.
Copper Mountain donated a portion of registration fees for its CopperMan adventure race last weekend to Francklyn’s care.
