GREENWOOD VILLAGE, Colo.—Greenwood Village police are investigating after Cherry Creek High School canceled tests used to determine college eligibility.

School officials say they canceled the test on Tuesday after someone noticed some of the tests were missing.

The ACT tests, once named for the American College Testing program, are used to determine what students have learned throughout high school and provide colleges and universities with information for recruiting, advising, placement, and retention.

According to KCNC-TV ( ), about 800 juniors were scheduled to take the test Tuesday morning. Authorities believe the tests were stolen by a student.
