TRINIDAD, Colo.—The wife of a Trinidad school district employee is facing harassment and menacing charges after a threat was made against a school superintendent.
According to KKTV-TV ( ), police say 65-year-old Helen Cordova made the threat against Manuel Rodriguez, who is embroiled in a dispute with employees.
Cordova, who was issued a citation, could not be reached for comment. She is due in court on May 31.
School district employees and their supporters are upset over proposed budget cuts and student transfers.
