announced today that it is launching a lighter fare menu for breakfast, lunch and catering.
The company said its is designed for consumers seeking healthier choices.
Each of the 15 items offered on the menu contain fewer than 350 calories, less than 15 grams of fat and is priced at $5.50 or less.
According to Einstein, the menu features breakfast items including Southwest Turkey-Sausage and the Asparagus, Mushroom & Swiss Bagel Thin Eggwhite Sandwiches.
The menu also features two new Gourmet Salads, the Chipotle Salad and the Harvest Chicken Salad.
“The launch of our ‘Smart Choices’ menu provides a variety of delicious options to accommodate any lifestyle,” said Jeff O’Neill, chief executive for Einstein Noah Restaurant Group.
“Our bagel thin sandwiches have been a popular choice for our loyal guests, so it was a logical next step to develop a menu specifically geared toward consumers looking for ways to enjoy our bagels in a lighter way.”
The restaurant has also added several soups, fruit and low-fat smoothie options, including the Ultimate Blueberry Smoothie and the Strawberry Banana Smoothie.
“Our customers have increasingly expressed interest in additional specialty beverages to enjoy, so we are very pleased to add these refreshing new smoothies which are a perfect treat just in time for summer,” said O’Neill.
