FORT COLLINS, Colo.—One person is dead and another injured after a vehicle crashed into a river northwest of Fort Collins.
Poudre Fire Authority spokesman Capt. Patrick Love said firefighters found a vehicle in the river Monday. He said one person was on shore and a second person was still in the river.
According to the Fort Collins Coloradoan ( ) a swift-water rescue team and a medical evacuation helicopter have been sent to the scene to help rescuers.
