Storms over Colorado have already dropped large hail and up to a half of foot of snow and there is more ahead, according to the Colorado weather forecast.

9News Meteorologist Marty Coniglio is forecasting a round of rain and thunder for the Front Range for Saturday night and again Sunday afternoon and evening.

While no severe storms (1 inch diameter hail and/or 58 mph winds) are forecast, Marty says that because it is early in the season and the freezing level is very low, hail up to ½ inch diameter is possible on a limited basis Saturday evening and again Sunday afternoon and evening.
