Another car accident has claimed a life on Interstate 70 this evening.
Colorado State Patrol spokeswoman Heather Cobler, said the accident happened at about 6:41 p.m. on westbound lanes of Interstate 70 near Palisade.
The driver of a gold Toyota sedan lost control of the vehicle.
The driver and a passenger were ejected from the car. The driver, who has not been identified, died on scene.
The passenger was taken to the hospital in serious condition.
The accident is still being investigated.
Earlier today, bursting into flames.
Lane closures remain in effect for the investigation of that accident.
Colorado Department of Transportation advises drivers to use U.S. 6 as an alternate.
