ENGLEWOOD, Colo.—Englewood is considering easing the limits on murals on the sides of businesses and allowing them to qualify as art.

Under a proposed new law, the city would have little or no say on what the murals depict, including their size.

No permit would be required to paint one as long as they do not contain advertising.

According to the Denver Post ( ), murals were previously limited in size and location.

Other Colorado communities that are dealing with the issue include Durango and Aurora.
