One person is dead after a multiple-vehicle crash on C-470 this morning.
Around 7:50 a.m., emergency crews were called to the accident on westbound C-470 between Broadway and University Boulevard, said Sgt. Mike Baker, a spokesman for the Colorado State Patrol.
Westbound C-470 was reduced to one lane until about 11 a.m., according to the Colorado Department of Transportation. All lanes on eastbound C-470 remained open.
Several vehicles were involved in the accident. One of the vehicles, which appears to be a Nissan Frontier truck, rolled during the accident, Baker said.
Details about what caused the accident and possible other injuries were not immediately available.
