The Denver Design Incubator has found studio space in Highland and is celebrating with an open house 1-8 p.m. Saturday at 2040 Clay St. (next to Colorado’s first nonprofit organization devoted to helping fashion designers develop their businesses, DDI will host studio tours on the hour, and fashion shows are scheduled for 2:30 and 6 p.m. Guests will get an introduction to the resources, professional consulting and work space available. The incubator is offering a designer-in-residence program, where people will take classes and workshops based on a customized curriculum and be mentored by established fashion professionals.
