Mystery solved.
An antique sewing table that turned up at a Longmont Humane Society thrift store really did belong to the fabled Hover family.
The thrift store received the table as a donation and had been told it came from the Hoverhome.
But the St. Vrain Historical Society had been unable to confirm the piece’s provenance until Wednesday, when Doris Larabee, a former caregiver to Beatrice Hover, came forward to say it had belonged to Beatrice’s mother, Katherine.
