All that jazz …
Today’s ninth annual Five Points Jazz Festival has a lot to offer in addition to its impressive seven-venue showcase of talented local jazz musicians. Three artists from the Chalk Art Festival will create large chalk drawings throughout the day and call on children to help fill in the blanks. Festivalgoers are invited to bring their cameras and submit photos to win prizes. Categories include “Faces in the Crowd” (people at the festival) and “Players n’ Purveyors” (musicians and vendors). Photos may be uploaded to denverarts . The Colorado Pilots Association presents the two-day Rocky Mountain Light Sport Aircraft Expo 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. today and Sunday. Aircraft from more than a dozen manufacturers will be on display along with representatives from flight schools, service and equipment providers. Aviation seminars and information on how to obtain a Sport Pilot license are also included. Admission and parking are free.
