Ikea has the blues
Staff from Colorado’s Ikea outpost will help kick-start Memorial Day weekend on Thursday by giving away free blue tote bags in downtown Denver. This is part of Ikea’s periodic Random Act of Life Improvement campaign, which so far has included a tree-seedling giveaway and a coffee-cup giveway. The chain stopped using plastic shopping bags in 2007 as part of its goal to increase sustainable practices. For more details about this giveaway, follow the Colorado store on Twitter: @IKEA_Centennial. The store is located at 9800 E. Ikea Way, Centennial, 303-768-9164,
