An Aurora couple says their special day has been tarnished by a wedding photo nightmare.

Ashley and Patrick Kline hired Kassia Meinholdt, a photographer from Boulder who came highly recommended, paid in full $2,350 for wedding pictures on October 6, 2011 but did not receive the photos as their contract promised.

After getting no response for almost 7 months, Bob Massie, the father of the bride, got Boulder police involved. Officers accompanied the Massies in a Civil Standby and Meinholdt gave them a flash drive with about 3,400 unedited pictures – but not the album they paid for.

“I don’t have any comment on it besides I’m sad that [the story] ran. I refunded them $2,000. I did their engagement session and a proposal session. I gave them all their photos and refunded them,” Meinholdt said.
