FORT COLLINS, Colo.—The owner of a Fort Collins-based chain of indoor hydroponic gardening stores has reached a plea deal on a federal marijuana charge.
Federal prosecutors this week accused Way To Grow CEO Corey Innis of helping to distribute more than 22 pounds of marijuana between August 2007 and April 2008 and in October 2009. His attorney has indicated in court filings that the sides have reached a plea bargain.
Attorney Jeralyn Merritt told the Coloradoan ( ) that Innis is accepting responsibility for his personal misconduct, and that Way To Grow was not involved in his offense.
