AURORA, Colo.—Police in the Denver suburb of Aurora are investigating two unrelated fatal shootings.
One man died after he was found unresponsive inside a locked car just before midnight Monday.
Aurora police Sgt. Cassidee Carlson says investigators believe he was shot at a nearby parking lot, got into his car and drove a short distance before the car ran onto a sidewalk and stopped.
Officers broke a window to unlock the car and administered CPR until paramedics arrived and took the man to a hospital, where he died.
The other man was found shot after a disturbance was reported at a bar early Tuesday. He was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Neither victim’s name has been released. No arrests have been made in either case.
