We’ve said it before: are one of the best new bands of the last decade. And now the L.A. four-piece just announced a big Colorado date.
Good news for fans: The band will headline for its first time, and the supporting line-up is unexpectedly strong.
Silversun Pickups will play Red Rocks on Sept. 16 in support of its excellent new “Neck of the Woods.” The show is being billed as Channel 93.3’s Big Gig, the annual summertime concert sponsored by KTCL-93.3/FM. Supporting the band: Local heroes 3OH!3, indie rockers the Wombats and Swedish garage rockers the Hives.
Tickets, $36.50-$39.95, will go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. at area93.com – and a general Ticketmaster on-sale will follow.
