COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.—Colorado Springs police say a heavily armed man has been arrested after an hours-long standoff that prompted evacuations of about 30 homes.
The Gazette reports ( ) Ron Brown was taken into custody at about 2 a.m. Wednesday.
Police say they went to Brown’s home at about 4:30 p.m. Tuesday to arrest him on charges related to firing a weapon. No other details have been released.
Police say Brown had firearms, a bullet-proof vest, a helmet and a gas mask inside the home.
