DENVER—The Colorado Rockies say the mother of Rockies founders and owners Dick and Charlie Monfort has died.

The club says 82-year-old Patricia “Pat” A. Miller died Thursday of natural causes at her home in Greeley. She is survived by her sons; her husband, Vern; two daughters; 15 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Rockies Chairman and CEO Dick Monfort said in a written statement that his mother was loved and cherished and will be greatly missed.

A service for her is planned Thursday in Greeley.
