In 2011, a man was caught spying on women from underneath a portable toilet at a Boulder yoga festival.
The man ran from security while covered in feces and was arrested. This year, the festival is beefing up security and adding safer bathrooms.
“It’s actually called the VIP presidential toilet,” Marsha Austin, with Hanuman Festival, said.
The toilets flush this year, so there’s no room for anybody to hide, Austin says. The portable units include sinks. These porta potties are top of the line, Austin says.
