Delta County residents who evacuated their homes while rescue agencies battled a 60-acre fire near Cedaredge yesterday were able to return around 9 p.m. that night.
According to a release from the Delta County Sheriff’s Office, fire crews stopped mopping up hot spots after reporting the fire had stopped progressing a little before 8 p.m.
Only one structure, a barn, is believed to have been destroyed by the blaze.
