The High Park fire has closed access to Seaman, Horsetooth, Watson and the Poudre. You can access Cameron Pass and North Park water via routes other than Colorado 14. Streams and rivers — such as Clear Creek, Big Thompson, South Platte and the Blue — are running low and clear, and fishing well for fly- fishers. Look for good dry fly action in the evening with caddis and PMDs. Chatfield, Bear Creek and Aurora are fishing well for smallmouth; tubes and seinkos are good options. Gross Reservoir is a good place to take a canoe or kayak and troll or jig for lake trout.
