Visual Art: The cube inside the box at the Denver Art Museum

Through Feb 17. Laleh Mehran’s recent installation in the Denver Art Museum’s Fuse Box space is a complex wonder. Mehran, who teaches “emergent digital practices” at DU, has created a giant black cube that is part science, part art and takes visitors on an interactive, multimedia exploration of identity, geopolitics, religion and more. It’s as rich as its title — “Men of God, Men of Nature” — promises it will be. Enter it alone if you get the chance. The museum is on West 13th Avenue between Broadway and Bannock Street. $10 for Colorado residents. 720-865-5000 or .
