FORT COLLINS, Colo.—The Fort Collins City Council has decided term limits are not a high priority for voters and they will not pursue a ballot question to allow its members to serve longer in office.
According to the Fort Collins Coloradoan ( ), council members were considering asking voters in November or April to extend council members’ potential terms to a maximum of three terms and the mayor to four.
The city charter limits council members to two four-year terms and the mayor to three two-year terms.
