COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.—Colorado Rockies shortstop Troy Tulowitzki appears to have aggravated a left groin injury during a rehabilitation assignment with the Colorado Springs Sky Sox.

Tulowitzki was playing against the Triple-A affiliate of the Arizona Diamondbacks, the Reno Aces, on Wednesday afternoon in Colorado Springs.

According to The Denver Post ( ), in the third inning, the Rockies All-Star was running a few steps as if going to tag up from first base on a long fly ball to center field. But after he returned to the base, he removed himself from the game.

After talking briefly with the Sky Sox trainer, he left the clubhouse.

Tulowitzki has been on the disabled list since May 31 with a strained left groin.
