Verizon Wireless has named Chris Lewter regional president of its five-state mountain region.
Lewter, who will relocate from Chicago, will be based in Denver.
He most recently served as executive director of Area Business Marketing for Verizon’s Midwest Region.
Lewter replaces Melanie Braidich who served as the mountain states regional president for more than five years.
Braidich was recently named to lead the company’s West Area Customer Service organization.
The mountain states region includes Colorado, Idaho, Montana, Utah and Wyoming.
In the region, Lewter will be responsible for Verizon’s sales, operations, financial performance and customer experience.
Lewter began his career with Verizon Wireless in 1999 .
