DENVER—Interior Secretary Ken Salazar is expected to announce a 90,000-acre conservation area for southern Colorado.
The Denver Post reports ( ) Salazar on Friday will announce an agreement with billionaire New York conservationist Louis Bacon for an easement preventing future development.
The proposed Sangre de Cristo Conservation Area includes three major mountains over 14,000 feet high.
