Denver’s well-publicized “vampire biter” will spend 30 days in jail and a year on supervised probation for nipping two people in a convenience store last November.

Emi Coleman, 30, pleaded guilty to third-degree assault and was sentenced today.

Her sentence includes another 60 days of in-home detention, drug and alcohol treatment, as well as mental health treatment, and treatment for anger management.

The bites were inflicted at the Barn Store at 47th Avenue and Tower Road.

Coleman groped a man who was a customer in the store from behind then bit him on the neck. Coleman then asked the store clerk for a hug and bit her on the neck, as well.

The clerk, she was shocked by the oral assault. “I could feel her teeth.”
