Lake City historic tours. The Hinsdale County Museum, in Lake City, will offer walking tours of the historic district and cemeteries starting Thursday and continuing through September. Tours meet at the museum at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays. All tours are suitable for all ages. or 970-944-2050

Country Jam in Grand Junction. The Country Jam music festival will finish off today in Grand Junction. Visitors can enjoy live performances by some of country music’s biggest stars including Blake Shelton, The Charlie Daniels Band, and more. Free Aspen bluegrass Bluegrass Sundays will continue through Sept. 2, on the top of Aspen Mountain. Every Sunday from 12-3 p.m., visitors can enjoy free and notable bluegrass acts. Bands will include Corn Yeti, Blue Canyone Boys, Matt Flinner and more. or 1-800-525-6200

Tour Colorado’s coal history The “Coal Camp Pontoon Boat Tour” will take place on July 26-27 at Trinidad Lake. The tour will visit sites related to coal mining, including Sopris, the coal mining town that was flooded to create the lake, and stories about the town’s former residents.
