OMAHA — Bailey Nero of the Fort Collins Area Swim Team finished 89th in the preliminaries of the women’s 200 butterfly Thursday morning at the U.S. Olympic Swimming Trials.
Nero finished in 2:18.52. The only other two Colorado swimmers competing Thursday were Clark Smith of the Denver Swimming Academy who finished 154th in the men’s 100 freestyle in 53.23 and Daryl Turner of ACES Swim Club who finished 158th in the same event in 52.53.
