A on Monday night has died.
Jeffrey Boulton, 45, died at the Medical Center of the Rockies from injuries he recieved in the crash. The incident remains under investigation by the Fort Collins Police Department.
The Larimer County Coroner’s Office expects to release information Thursday afternoon on the official cause and manner of death.
The incident happened about 7:10 p.m. Monday near the intersection of Shields Street and Truxtun Drive, according to Fort Collins police.
Boulton, of Fort Collins, was driving a Harley-Davidson motorcycle south on Shields when a “Schwan’s delivery truck made a left turn from eastbound Truxtun Drive onto northbound Shields Street in front of the motorcycle,” police said.
The motorcycle “skidded for several feet” and went down. Boulton was thrown from the Harley. He was not wearing a helmet, police said.
Neither the motorcycle or Boulton were hit by the truck. The driver of the Schwan’s truck, Michael Mann, 43, of Greeley, was not injured.
