DENVER—A woman who fell into a crawl space after the floor collapsed at a Denver halfway house has been taken to a hospital.
Denver Fire Department Lt. Phil Champagne tells KMGH-TV in Denver ( ) her injuries aren’t life-threatening.
Champagne says the woman was stepping out from a shower Thursday morning when rotted wooden flooring gave way. He says the woman fell about 4 feet to 6 feet into a crawl space, and debris fell on her.
Champagne says a hidden water leak may have rotted the flooring.
