DENVER—Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer is laying out a vision for a conservative West before an annual Denver gathering for Republicans.
Brewer and Republican Wyoming Gov. Matt Mead were on the agenda Saturday at the Western Conservative Summit. More than a thousand attendees heard Friday night from NRA executive vice president Wayne LaPierre, who criticized the Obama administration’s handling of the Operation Fast and Furious gun-tracking investigation.
The conservatives also planned to talk about plans to see a win this November for Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney.
