A historical walk
“Vintage Art & Architecture” is the theme of Saturday’s ninth annual self-guided Estes Park Historic Home Tour. Stops include the 1904 home of F.O. Stanley along with vintage cabins and ranches dating from 1877 to 1907. Local authors and artists will be present at each location. Hours are 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tickets are $25 and benefit the Estes Park Museum.

Works by more than 150 national artists are included in the fifth annual Boulder Festival of the Arts on 29th Street happening Saturday and Sunday. The outdoor art gallery has pieces ranging in price from $25 to $30,000 including paintings, sculptures, ceramics, photography, jewelry, glass, wood and mixed media. I say watch out
Boasting “a full-fledged food fight to end all food fights,” the annual Tomato Battle: Denver is noon to 7 p.m. July 7. Modeled after La Tomatina, the annual festival held in Spain, more than 3,000 competitors are expected to go into battle at 3 p.m. flinging, tossing and throwing more than 80,000 pounds of tomatoes.
