Q: I’m moving to Denver in a month to attend medical school, and I’m trying to decide on a cell provider and a home Internet provider. I’ll be living in Stapleton and going to school in Aurora. I need stable and fast Internet connectivity — I don’t talk on the phone much and I will not be buying cable TV. What would you recommend?
— Regina Kwon
A: I would go with Comcast for home Internet, the superior broadband service for much, if not all, of metro Denver. As for mobile phone service, I’d go with Verizon 4G LTE, and if you’re in the market for a smartphone, consider the Samsung Galaxy S3. If you’re on a budget, T-Mobile would probably be the best bet for mobile broadband. Verizon and T-Mobile had the fastest mobile networks in Denver in a recent PC Magazine test.
