DENVER—A woman accused of helping her boyfriend cut up the body of a slain 16-year-old girl in Denver is headed to prison.
Twenty-six-year-old Francesca Pagliasotti was sentenced to 10 years behind bars on Thursday.
Edward “Tim” Romero is accused of shooting 16-year-old Alicia Martinez in October 2010 in a garage. Prosecutors accused Pagliasotti of helping Romero cut up her body and clean the garage.
At her trial, she said that she feared for her life if she disobeyed Romero’s demands to help him.
Romero is scheduled to go on trial Sept. 18.
