FORT COLLINS, Colo.—The Horsetooth Mountain Open Space recreation area will no longer accept cash.

Managers say automated kiosks are working so well the county will no longer accept bills or coins beginning next month.

According to the Loveland Reporter-Herald ( ), credit and debit cards will be the only means for users to buy self-service entrance passes beginning Aug. 1.

Later this year, self-serve kiosks will be added to other fee areas in Larimer County.
