THORNTON, Colo.—Authorities say a police officer in the Denver suburb of Thornton and the driver of another vehicle have been injured in a head-on collision.
The police officer suffered serious injures in the Sunday morning collision. The condition of the other driver isn’t known.
No names have been released.
Police say the officer was westbound on Colorado 7 when the other vehicle pulled out of a church parking lot attempting to go east.
The Colorado State Patrol is investigating.
