CASTLE ROCK, Colo.—Douglas County sheriff’s deputies have blown up a suspicious object found on a highway.

The sheriff’s office says a man testing water found a suspicious pipe with wires coming out of it on the roadside Monday and called authorities.

Bomb squad technicians have detonated the pipe.

Sheriff’s officials said Tuesday they haven’t determined if the pipe was a pipe bomb. They looked for similar objects in the area but haven’t found anything.
