Amtrak train service in Colorado has been interrupted by a track washout and the California Zephyr is being rerouted through Wyoming.
The washout, near Glenwood Springs, happened last night and trains running Wednesday are being detoured, said Marc Magliari, an Amtrak spokesman.
The Zephyr runs daily between San Francisco and Chicago.
The detours will send trains through Wyoming, instead of Colorado, until the washed out section of track, which belongs to the Union Pacific Railroad, is repaired.
