DENVER—A federal judge has given a Denver manufacturing company owned by a Catholic family a temporary reprieve from provisions of the Affordable Health Care Act over questions about violating of their religious freedom.

Starting Wednesday, any employer-sponsored health care plan that is being renewed must offer free access to eight services classified as preventive care for women, including Food and Drug Administration-approved contraception and sterilization procedures.

According to the Denver Post ( ), U.S. District Court Judge John Kane said Hercules Industries showed it would suffer irreparable harm.
