Classical music: Breezy sounds from the wind ensemble
Saturday: At this time of year, we’re done with the major operas and the big symphony concerts. It’s time for something more intimate. How about “Winds in the Park,” featuring the on Saturday evening? The players, who , take it down a notch, collaborating with students from the Colorado Honor Band for a much more informal affair at the Curtis Arts & Humanities Center, 2349 E. Orchard Road, Littleton. It’s not buttoned-up classical, but the 6 p.m. event is free, and that’s also how we like it at this time of year. 303-394-4552 or coloradowind ensemble.org.
